Today Chanel unveiled their unique collection and in true Chanel style they created a show to remember and brought talk to the town. Karl Lagerfeld the creative director and head designer for Chanel transformed the show into an art gallery and decided to blow the Chanel chain trims and pearls to jumbo size, throw in a robotic No.5 bottle and chose to mix Chanel tweed with leather and denim. Interesting combination I think, don't you? But it worked! Of course it did, It's Chanel.
The collection saw frayed multicoloured tweed mixed with subtle accessories, painted finishes on jeans and jackets, cashmere knits, silk dresses smothered in multi-coloured swatches, black and white full-skirted dresses and shoes paired with fussy socks. Karl did choose to stick to feminine shapes and Chanel's signature pieces - tweed, pearls, chain and quilting. The signature tweed suit had been given a new twist, its sleeveless and it was in bright pink. Overall creating a cool, modern and new collection that was clearly inspired by art.
(Cara loved the dress so much I think she was wanting to go home with it)
(Even Karl walked the runway)
The guests included Katy Perry, Cara's BFF Rita Ora, Anna Wintor along with Kate Upton, Poppy Delevinge and Miranda Kerr

This season has seen designer after designer bring an aray of wigs to the runway and Chanel was not going to be the one to change that trend as the brand presented the models wearing a shocking platinum bowl cut. Cara is quickly building up quite an archive of wigs and she is rocking this one once again. Is this a look you would want to try?
